There Will Be Time to Repent

A red rose.

When the time of God’s judgment comes, there will be time to repent if we are alive. No matter how we have lived, we are all born with a tendency to sin.

Because Adam, the first human, disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, we have all become sinners.

Since we are alive right now, we should choose to stop sining while we still have the chance. Even if we think we have many years left, we do not know when our time will come. If we did, we might be tempted to wait until the last moment.

Since we cannot be sure how much time we have left, it is wise to repent now if we want to go to Heaven after we die.

As I mentioned, we should try to stop sinning and repent now if we want to go to Heaven. I understand it is not easy, but we should do our best. We need Jesus’s help, so do not hesitate to ask Him for it.

I met Jesus six years ago, and He has been helping me overcome my sins. There are still some I struggle with, but I keep working on them and pray every day. Remember, it takes time to change, and Satan tries to keep us trapped in sin until it is too late.

Now, returning to the topic of “There Will Be Time to Repent,” I used to believe that once God’s judgment began, it would be too late to change our ways.

After reading Revelation 14: 7 NIV  7, He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the springs of water.”

Here is what the Bible says happens to those who do not repent before judgment day.

Revelation 14: 9-11 NIV  9.A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or their hand,

10 They, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels of the Lamb.

11 And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”

Revelation 14: 17-20 NIV  17. Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar, and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle,

“Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe. ”19.

The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes, and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath.

20.They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia (about 183.93 miles today.

Revelation 16:8-9 NIV  8. The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. 9.They were seared by the intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

Revelation 16:10-11 NIV 10.The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness.

People gnawed their tongues in agony 11.and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

Thank you for reading. I hope this message was helpful to you.
