You might have noticed that Christians and non-Christians often behave differently. Can you say who are considered Christians and Non-Christians?
I think that if you need to tell people you are a Christian, you might not truly be one. But if someone asks you, and you are a Christian, you should answer honestly.
Christians have certain qualities that make them stand out from non-Christians. You can see it in how they speak, act, and carry themselves. While Christians can get upset, the Holy Spirit helps calm them.
Christians often greet others warmly because it comes naturally to them. They are usually honest and kind, and they like to help others. The Holy Spirit guides them to act this way, and they seem to enjoy it.
There are Christians all around the world, which can make life feel more pleasant. At the same time, there are also many non-Christians, and sometimes this can make things feel a bit hectic. Still, the difference between the two is easy to notice.
The qualities of a Christian are easy to see. Christians know right from wrong and try to do what is good. They aim to live in a holy way, while non-Christians may not be as concerned about their actions or how they affect others.
Non-Christians may not show the same Godly traits, and this can be seen in how they live and treat others. According to Christian belief, it is not just the people themselves, but rather Satan influencing their choices and actions.
People become Christians by making a choice. When someone decides to follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live in them, guiding them to avoid certain actions and encouraging a better way of living. Some Christians may not realize the Holy Spirit is with them, but they notice their lives have changed since choosing Jesus.
Here are some traits that Christians show. If you spend time with them, you will notice these qualities. Seeing these traits might even inspire you to become a follower of Jesus too.
Colossians 3:12-17 NIV – 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts since, as members of one body, you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Living this way is clear to others, so you do not need to tell people you are a Christian—they will notice after spending time with you. I am a Christian, and I truly enjoy this way of life. Sometimes, I feel tempted to turn away, but with all the kindness Jesus shows me every day, I do not think I will ever leave it.
