Christian Beliefs Partial List

A cross on a hill

Some of these beliefs may have slight variances, exceptions, and additions depending on the Christian denomination. Nevertheless, this is a Christian Beliefs partial list.

For the most part, Christian beliefs are Jesus is the Son of God; Jesus is the second person of the Trinity, which consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus died for all humanity’s sins and was brought back to life on the third day.

They believe that the Scriptures in the Bible are God’s spoken words, written by humans, and that the Bible was without error in its original writings.

If you confess to being a Christian, you must trust its promises, obey its commands, and believe in what it says. But the Bible has been translated so many times since its original writings that there may be some inaccurate information in it due to translations.

Christians believe in one God, the creator of all things, eternally existing, holy, and infinitely perfect. This God knows all things and has unlimited power; God had planned to redeem the sinful human race for Himself and make all things new for His own glory.

Christians understand that they are sinners and the penalty for sin is a spiritual death, which means they could not live for eternity in heaven.

So, Jesus had to die on the cross for all people’s sins so that all who believed in him would live for eternity in heaven. In this article, Christian beliefs, plain and simple, don’t include all of their beliefs.

Christians believe that Jesus is God’s representative, and He died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for their sins. His death and resurrection are the only way they could receive forgiveness for their sins.

They believe the Holy Spirit makes people aware of their sins and converts sinners to Christians. The Holy Spirit also helps people try to have a Christ-like attitude.

Christians believe Jesus Christ will return to earth one day; the date and time are unknown to humans. Since they don’t know the exact date and time of his return, they should stay ready by living godly lives.

They believe that God wants everyone to believe the gospel, turn to Him in repentance, and accept Jesus as their savior.

They also believe that God will raise the people who have died and judge all people, assigning the unbeliever to eternal punishment and the believer to everlasting blessedness.

As I stated earlier, some faith groups that consider themselves Christians do not accept some of these beliefs. They may have added to or subtracted from the original doctrines to suit their denomination standards.

Back in the sixteenth century, Christians wanted to restore the Bible to its original version before all the translations took place. Some Christians wanted to remove some of the changes and doctrines that had been added and removed over the years. This concludes the article that Christianity’s beliefs are plain and simple.
