Just Blame It All on God

A man pointing his finger

God came up with this free will thing, and now, look at the chaos the world is in. Yes, we can do and say anything we want to. Can we say just blame it all on God? Many years ago, God created the angels, and he gave them free will to do whatever they wanted to.

God created the angels as his spiritual helpers. Angels enjoy a wonderful existence in heaven as they praise, worship, and carry out their duties for God 24/7/365. But some of the angels wanted to be higher than God since they had free will to do whatever they wanted to do. So, they thought, why not make us higher than God? So, a fight broke out in heaven over that issue.

The Angels who chose to remain under God’s command and remain his spiritual helpers sided with God and helped him throw the rebellious angels out of heaven. The Angels who got thrown out of heaven went into the heavenly realms, which are not heaven but not on earth either.

An angel cannot destroy another angel, whether they are good or bad. So, God’s plan of having all of the angels be his spiritual helpers went wrong. Now, what is God going to do to destroy the angels in the heavenly realms?

Then God created the earth, and some of the fallen angels came to earth and started taking control of it. So now God decided to create humans because they are higher than angels, and that really made the fallen angels angry—how dare God create someone higher than them! But God gave humans free will, too, and some of us have partnered with the fallen angels.

No matter what humans and angels do, God has to be just and fair to us all, even if we are against him. That is what you do when you have free will. I wonder what it would be like if we did not have free will and we did whatever God said and whenever he told us to do it.

We would fare better without free will. At least most everyone would go to heaven. We would not have starvation or murder because God would tell us to help each other and do no harm to each other. Although he said that anyway, this time, we would do it because we have no choice but to do whatever God said.

There would be no wars or hatred because God does not like those things. He would tell us not to do those things, and we would obey him. We would be just one big happy world, just loving and caring for each other. That sounds good to me. What about you?

I guess God did not want that kind of world, although he said he did. God knows us too well to think we would live a good life without being forced to. I do not see the advantages of having free will when it comes to how we treat people. It is now love them if you want to, but if you do not want to, you do not have to.

Without free will, all the angels would still be in heaven, living happily ever after. There would be no Satan or evil on the earth. What a beautiful mess we would be in.  But we do have free will, and we are struggling to obey God’s will with a will of our own.
