My opinion about whether you should tell people you are a Christian is that if you have to tell someone you are a Christian, there is a good chance you are not a Christian. The title of this post is Christians love Christ’s lifestyle, but there are people who don’
There is something distinctive about Christians, and everyone they meet will eventually know it. You will be able to notice it in the way they talk, walk, express themselves, and conduct themselves; a glow is on their faces often.
Usually, whenever Christians approach anyone, they give a warm greeting just because that is their nature. Most of the time, they are honest, kind people willing to help almost anyone. The Holy Spirit causes them to act that way, and they seem to enjoy it.
There are many Christians everywhere on this earth, which makes it nice to live here. But there are also many non-Christians, which can make living here a little hectic sometimes. But you can easily see the difference between the two.
The characteristics of Christians stand out from the rest; they know the difference between good and evil and then choose to do what is good. They live holy, unlike non-Christians who live any way they choose; if they offend or hurt someone, it does not matter to them.
Non-Christians do not have any Godly traits at all, and it shows in the way they live and treat other people. It is not the non-Christian people themselves that act this way; it is Satan who is controlling their minds and making them live that type of lifestyle.
Christians became Christians because Jesus chose them. When you become a Christian, Jesus will send the Holy Spirit to live in you, which discourages you from doing certain things and causes you to live a pleasing lifestyle. Some Christians are not aware the Holy Spirit is living in them, but they know there is something different in their lifestyle now.
Below is a list of traits Christians have, and if you are around them long enough, you will see them with your own eyes. When you observe them expressing these traits, it may make you want to convert from a non-Christian to a Jesus, people-loving person yourself.
Colossians 3:12-17 NIV – 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts since, as members of one body, you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
This type of lifestyle speaks for itself, so you do not have to tell anyone you are a Christian because they will know it whenever you are in their presence for a period of time.
I am a Christian, and I love this lifestyle. There are times when Satan tries to make me turn against it, but I enjoy this lifestyle so much, and with all of the kindness that Jesus shows me daily, I do not think I will ever abandon it.
